Top Favorite Songs and How it Touched Me

All the songs written as below, are according to my preference liking, or how I relate to it in some sort of way. I would say that I have a really good taste in music. My friends tell me my song playlist is so random. I could go from Hip-Hop/Rap to 60's songs. I could go from Drake to Billie Holiday in no time. I might sound weird or crazy, but whenever I feel down, music somehow helps me make me happy again. Or help me get back to my normal state.

To some people, the type of music I listen to isn't as 'fun' or as 'intriguing' as they would like it to be. Well, everyone has their own taste don't you think? The songs I like may not fit your playlist. So here is the list. Hope you can relate to it.

Unconditional Love by Josh Pan
This song is simple and very vulnerable. It speaks reality. Josh Pan is talking about fake people around him. Not to be hypocrite or anything, as spontaneous a person is, there are times where they didn't realize they were being 'fake'. And how in the lyrics there is a cuss word saying someone is a 'coward'. It means a coward for being fake, and not being true to yourself. A cuss at someone for not loving themselves. A cuss for someone who judge someone sooner than they judge themselves.

Gold by Jamie Scott featuring Christina Perri
This song is about colours. Not just prime colours and to what object they match to. But this song is about colour meanings. Every colour there are in the World has its own meanings. Red means passion and anger. Yellow means happiness and can be calming too. Green means nature, when people see green, their first click was nature and the environment. Blue is the colour of sea and ocean, blue symbolizes faith, trust, and loyalty. And the list goes on. This song is very special. When you see or hear the colour 'Gold', the first thought that comes to head is jewellery and richness. But in this song, this is about people who felt like 'gold'. Not as in they feel rich, but they fill fulfilled. This song is very special to me.

Heebiejeebies by Aminé featuring Kehlani
Personally when I first heard it, it hyped me up. It hyped my mood. I didn't think about how this song was written or what kind of feelings were put to it. It just genuinely make me dance. The part where it said "you got so much potential, every moment spent with you I bet was always eventful." This part made me feel very accepted. Accepted in society, because I am not better than everyone, I feel down sometimes too. But the 'potential' type really gave a slight thought to me that everyone is unique and they do have their own potential. As I said before, at first this song was just a genuine dance song for me. But knowing how its written really made my day. Aminé and Kehlani are known to be close friends. But on this song, they catch intense feelings with one another. The story behind this is that Kehlani and Aminé are a fan with each other. This one time when Kehlani was in the studio in LA, she invited Aminé to come visit her because luckily Aminé was in LA too. Aminé said he didn't think of writing a song that day, he thought it was just a meeting, or having lunch or something. But then one of the producers said "do you want to make a song?" then he dropped a beat and Kehlani started getting into it. What makes this song pure is that because both of them didn't think of writing a song that day, the lyrics were just made out of their first thoughts. The first thing that comes to their heads and they just put it down. And of course they put it down according to the beat and melody.

You Better Go Now by Billie Holiday
The first time I heard this song was when I watched the second season of Stranger Things. This was about two friends Nancy and Jonathan having a chemistry with each other. But on the other hand, Nancy has a boyfriend. Nancy and Jonathan are secretly in love with one another. When I heard the song, I instantly fell in love with it. The lyric that match their complicated relationship is the first verse when Billie Holiday sang "You better go now, because I like you much too much". This verse really reflect their relationship, which is why I genuinely love it so much.

What Kind Of A Mystery Is This?

I woke up to mom’s homemade blueberry pancakes that I love so very much. Mom always make blueberry pancake when it’s someone’s birthday. Well, it’s my birthday! I hate Monday though, considering it’s my birthday, I LOVE TODAY. I ran upstairs to take my pink Cinderella towel. I’m 14 and I’m pretty sure I need a normal adult towel. I ran to the toilet while shouting “IT’S MY BIRTHDAY! I’M PRETTY SURE I NEED AN ADULT TOWEL!” I’m a singer. I’m a singer in the shower. My voice is really good when I’m singing in the shower. I always sing Across The Universe by The Beatles.

After a spontaneous concert in the shower, I got out still singing the same song. I opened my closet and looked all through my 13 year old clothes. “Mom can I borrow your bra. I’m 14 now.” I shouted. I heard mom giggled from downstairs. I was kidding. I then searched and searched. There it is, my vintage pink sweater. I decide to use that sweater for my special day. I picked out the white skirt. I ran downstairs while bringing my tosca-colored backpack. I saw that delicious blueberry pancake mom made. It looks so good! I went to the kitchen and took a fork and a knife. When I saw the dining table, my annoying brother Marcus is eating it! He ruined my special day! “MOM! Marcus is eating my breakfast!” I said, “your breakfast? It’s Marcus’s birthday too.” Mom said.

“BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!” that’s the school bus. Better be going to school without breakfast. “Happy birthday Rose! I’m sorry you don’t have time for breakfast.” “Thanks, mom” I didn’t feel happy at all. When I got to the bus, I sat next to my best friends Ellie and Britney. “Why the long face?” Britney asked, “My brother ate my breakfast.” “Aren’t brothers like that?” Ellie asked, “that was my special breakfast mom made. She only makes it for anyone in the family when it’s someone’s birthday. “It’s your birthday?!” they asked together, I looked at them and wondered why don’t they remember. “Oh your birthday. Yep I know it’s today. You’re turning 13?” Ellie asked. “No, I’m 14.”

We finally arrived at school. I am totally pissed at my best friends because it’s so rude they don’t remember my birthday, and they even thought I turned 13? I was 13 yesterday. I put my bag and books inside my locker and took my science book. It’s time to have science. Science is so boring. All I know is science has this chemical stuff that react to something and it became to this and that. Ugh so confusing.

I got out of the science class and there was Ellie and Britney holding a tiny box that says “happy birthday” on it. They gave it to me; they start apologizing “we’re so sorry we forgot about your birthday. I hope this doesn’t go between us. And we have a present for you. Here you go. Happy birthday, Rose.” “I forgive you. And I love you guys. Thank you.” I said. We finally laughed together again. We had lunch which we ate tuna sandwich.

I arrived at home with a frown. Mom was there sitting in the couch while watching America’s Next Top Model season 6. “How was your day?” mom asked, “Nothing special” I replied. I ran upstairs and opened the gift my girls gave me. It’s a bracelet! “Happy birthday! The three of us has the same bracelets now! Yay buddies forever!” I directly wear the bracelet and felt something weird. And then there’s this woman appearing in front of me just like a mille-second. I was so shocked and ran downstairs and hugged my mom. “What’s the matter?” mom asked. “There was a strange looking woman upstairs.” I said in a fright. Mom went upstairs and checked my room, there’s nothing.” Mom said in a curious face. Maybe it’s just one of my imagination.

I don’t know what to do. Without a doubt, I ran to the public library near my school. I had a walk through the Mystery section. I see nothing. Then a lady came to me “May I help you?” I can see something odd from this lady. Like she’s someone I’ve known before. “I’m actually looking for a mystery true story method of a book. I know what I said doesn’t make sense. But you understand right?” I said. “Oh follow me. This way.” as I follow her to the mystery section, I saw a book titled “Mystery Around You”. When I turned my head back to where she’s standing, “Thanks!” and wondered where she went. How is she gone so fast? I looked around the library and she’s not near.

I don’t care so I took the book “Mystery Around You” and went through a short reading about it. It said something about a person appearing in front of you for a second and suddenly he’s gone. Suddenly I had a vision of the lady that showed me the way to this section… oh my God! It’s the exact same lady I met back at the house! I went to the cashier “Have you a seen a lady who works here with a long black hair, cynical eyes, and dried lips?” I asked, “We’re sorry, no, our staff consists brown, blond colored hair. Or maybe this lady isn’t a staff?” I didn’t answer to what the cashier guy said.

I ran home and felt something weird about the bracelet. Since the first time I wore it, strange things happened to me. I directly remove my bracelet from my wrist. And there’s nothing going on anymore until tomorrow I went to school. I met Ellie and Britney and asked about the bracelet. They said weird things happened to them too and they said they threw it away. And I threw it away. Until then we don’t know what was going on with the bracelet…

War Horse Film Preview

     War Horse is a movie directed by the famous Steven Spielberg, who was the award winning director. He mostly directed movies from the past years, and famous ones such as Jurassic Park, Jaws, Lincoln, etc. He is now directing a movie called American Sniper that’s the film going to be on cinemas by the year 2015. Based on a novel written by Michael Morpurgo, it tells a story about a miraculous horse named Joey and his owner Albert Narracott, played by Jeremy Irvine. Ted Narracott played by Peter Mullan as Albert’s father. This movie is about struggles of war and about best friends who stick together through war and adventure. 

     This movie is set in a village called Devon in the English countryside. The bond begins when Albert sees the birth of Joey. Until one day, Ted went to an auction of horse. Joey was one of the uncontrollable horses that Ted buys for 30 guineas. Ted doesn’t have much money. Albie is really happy that Ted buys Joey, but Emily Watsons as Rose Narracott, Albie’s mother was very disappointed that Ted can’t pay all the money to Lyons. Joey is a very hard to trained. After the years passed, Albie go to war fighting Germany. 

     This movie is full tears of joy. Joanna Johnston as an award winning costume designer, created the greatest countryside clothes for the actors. What I really like about the movie is the sound effects and the music. The music is really related with the scenes. At situations when someone died, or feeling free, the music is really touching my heart. Like the flute and violin.

     I recommend this movie because this is a movie about the bond of a teenage boy and a horse. People shed some tears because of how happy it gets in the end of the movie. This was a famous movie that was released at the year 2011. Animals are so loyal, they would sacrifice their lives for the ones they love and care about.  

Reflection On My Argumentative Essay and Debate

          First, to find a good topic for an argumentative essay, you should consider several issues and problems that will have two main points of view or different conclusions. You can write as many argumentative essay topics as you can think of, you should pick one that catches your interest so that you can write many information about it. So basically, argumentative essay is when we write an essay with appropriate arguments. For example when our topic is about smoking. We could prefer which side we're agreeing with, which is the pro or con. For example the title is "Smoking Shall Be Banned!" if you choose pro for this, it means that you agree that smoking should be banned. Or if you chose con, it means you don't agree that smoking should be banned. Also don't forget to put the thesis, statement, clear format, point of arguments, and a reference list to evaluate.
          My improvement on argumentative essay is to put the thesis statement and more evidence. I didn't put this on my essay because I was thinking much things about the facts on the topic rather then the evidence. That's why I need to improve more on my argumentative essay.

          Debate... Debate is almost similar to Argumentative essay, the difference is that the argumentative essay is like a reflection, it's what we have to ourselves. But, debate is when we have two teams that team #1 agrees with "Smoking Shall Be Banned!" and team #2 is the opposite. it is when for example 3 members from each teams could complain about why it is good or bad to smoke. The last speaker should sum up all of the arguments, that person needs to come up with a better solution.
          From the previous debate I've experienced, I realized I was speaking too fast, but I was clear. And at the end I realized people wasn't really sure about the statement that I wrote. So what I need to improve on debate is speak slower and clearer.

I'll Never Forget The Day I Tasted Belgium Waffles

     Hi there! I'm doing my second post on my blog here and I want to share something about my experience during my vacation to Belgium. I went on a tour with my big family to Europe. I went to Frankfurt, Paris, Germany, and Belgium. My favorite place to visit was Belgium. Especially the waffles at Belgium.

     Belgium is famous for its waffles. It has the best waffles in the whole universe (not even gonna lie). The size of the waffles are huge, well it's big actually. I bought the strawberry and vanilla ice cream flavor. MAN, IT TASTES LIKE HEAVEN. I loved it so much! Too bad it's been a long time I haven't taste it. I was so stingy on sharing it. Unfortunately, I was there just for a half day, and we continue our trip on the bus to Paris.

My quote of this post is going to be "Your life is never complete, if you haven't taste the Belgium waffles."

   

Who Doesn't Love Cats?

     Hi! Let's just cut to the chase about this "Who Doesn't Love Cats?". I love cats, I really do. I have four cats at home and they're super adorable. They're all boys and their names are Zorro, Abaydudut, Penguin, and Abon.

     So here are the facts about cats; Cats are suitable to be pets. Many people have cats as their pets. Cats are very sensitive in Human's feelings. They know at the times when we're sad, happy, afraid, angry and etc. Let me share something about my experience. My cat, Abon sleeps with me every night. One night around 11, I received a bad news about my teacher who had past away. Her name is Ms. Yuswan. She is very kind, and her voice is so soft. I cried at night and Abon looked at me and get attached with me, as in a cat's gesture "Don't cry."

     There's also the times when I get really mad at my brother, I was really mad that time and all my cats ran away. I have another experience on being scared, one time I watched a horror movie and I pictured the ghost and just got terrified on everything. I hugged Zorro and Abon, both of them looked around my room and when there's a sound from the roof, they were terrified too.

      That's my first post. And I'm wondering if you're asking yourself the same question too, "Who Doesn't Love Cats?"

My name is Sabrina Angganisti, people calls me Sabrina because obviously that's my first name. I'm Moslem. My birthday is on 23rd of January, 1999 at Mitra Keluarga, Bekasi. To be precise, I'm 14 years old. I have parents of course and two older brothers named Adhi and Gita. Adhi's a doctor at Bengkulu, Gita finishes his university but he haven't graduate, it's still a pending on his graduation. I lovvveee cats. I have 4 cats named Zorro, Abaydudut, Penguin, and Abon. They're all males and super adorable. I'm different, Everyone is created different by God. Everyone is created to be special and smart but there is always this someone smarter than the other.
